Our trip to the exotic Hong Kong over this Christmas period brought about the discovery of several interesting facts:

1. Christmas in another country can be so utterly refreshing
2. People weren’t kidding when they say the shopping’s good (most shops were open even on Christmas Day & til 11pm!)
3. They have a huge choice of children’s shoes. Huge.

I picked these up in a sale for my daughter for the equivalent of £16 – and look just how pretty and intricate the design is! “But trainers!” one may snuff – trust me, they’re so versatile and colourful they go with pretty much everything. And they certainly received my daughter’s Seal of Approval far more convincingly than her leather Clarks boots predecessors.

The scruff marks do them no justice but you get the idea…

I was concerned (but only a very little) over as to whether these are good for the young feet – they seem more like fashion shoes than anything else. My Lil’One is usually so quick to complain about the smallest discomfort, yet she seems to cause a rave in these just fine.

Having seen how much she loves them I decided to get these gorgeous Mr Happy counterparts for her little friend and he too absolutely adores them!
