The thinking behind those designers and architects at Nestt was to, in their own words, “make the best car seat in the world”. This little invention, aside from being unconventionally good-looking, slightly pie-in-the-sky (it makes me want to give it a big hug…or bite it), aims to solve the small problems that so many parents still face in this modern-day: drab aesthetics, wrestling a screaming toddler into his/her seat etc etc.

This design features single-handed tilt and swivel and almost no moving parts. There is also an air suspension system, a breathable seating surface and air channels, removable cushions made of memory foam that allow for a precise and comfortable fit, as well as retractable and indexed seatbelts.

Sadly for those wanting to rid of their present unsightly and plasticky counterparts (myself included), this Egg is still in its concept stage and many ititerations away from seeing the backside of a real kid. Don’t hold your breath.
