I’ll admit it: I’ve always been a self-confessed Expensive-Bagaholic. Having a baby (or two) has by no means diluted the habit. And after two long and frustrating years my quest to find that worthy baby bag has finally come to an end – Gucci recently wheeled out a change bag that satisfies my no-pastel, does-not-scream-baby-bag policy. What’s more this one is made of their crystal patent GG material, which helps keep those milk and tomato sauce stains at bay and easy to wipe down. Finally something to splurge on that’s for me!

If this isn’t cute and elegant enough for your taste, Gucci’s new SS’09 collection has also seen the birth of other baby bags for those willing to shell out between £525 to £640 for this gorgeous piece of arm candy. £600 you say?! Do not snuff my friends – bags are to me what bread is to butter. Besides, I’ve saved up on enough haircuts last year to warrant such extravagance (yes I have indeed given up on going to the hairdressers – no blowdries ever last longer than 5 minutes in this household).
